Ease: A Poetic Journey into Healing, Inner Stillness, and Spiritual Clarity

By Hunter Grimm (2019)

Looking out into the distance,
All my worries fade away—
I forget myself for just a moment,
And drift into the calm of day.

A warm breeze dances past my skin,
Carrying every thought astray,
As I stare into the endless sea
On that quiet afternoon in May.

My anxious thoughts begin to lift
With every rhythm of the tide.
My mind, once tense, begins to shift—
At peace, with nothing left to hide.

The world’s pain drowns beneath the sound
Of seagulls crying overhead.
No longer lost or tightly wound,
I feel warm ease rise up instead.

The sand beneath—a soft embrace,
A cradle for my weary frame.
It holds me in its healing place,
And joy returns without a name.

The lesson whispered by the sea:
Let go of fear—just let life be.
