Never Stop Dreaming: A Poem About Growing Up, Letting Go, and Awakening Your True Self

Dreams and aspirations are held dear
By those prepared to rise and win—
Until the path becomes unclear,
And the anxiety creeps in.

Growing up can make us blind,
Unable to trust what we can do.
Minds once free, now redefined—
Chasing lives we never chose to pursue.

As a kid, I was told I could be anything:
A footballer, a musician—maybe even a king.
But then the paths all turned to haze,
And every dream felt far away.

Reality says, “Go get a real career,”
But the kid in me refuses to disappear.
He pushes through the wall of fear,
To be the voice young hearts can hear:

Never give up on who you’re meant to be—
Live your truth, let the whole world see.
