Ripples in a Pond: A Poem on Love, Emotional Healing, and Deep Connection

By Hunter Grimm (2019)

The sun hits you just right,
Illuminating your face with light.
A glow so warm, it draws me near,
Into your arms—so close, so clear.

You’re the one I long to hold
When the world feels dark and cold.
I’ll be the strength you lean upon,
Your steady rock, your morning dawn.

The memories we’ll craft and keep,
The secrets shared, the nights too deep.
For nothing else could quite compare
To love like ours—bold, true, and rare.

An unbreakable bond, shaped slow and fond,
Like ripples dancing on a pond.
Time etches love in graceful trace,
A quiet, endless, sacred place.
